It's the simple song that I learned as a child but it holds the TRUE meaning of Christmas. I hope that everyday I find a new way to celebrate CHRISTmas in my heart. Share your comments, suggestions, and ways you celebrate what CHRISTmas is REALLY all about.

- I have been widowed since June 23, 2002. My husband of 14 months lost his nearly 2 yr battle to Testicular Cancer at age 24. I worked full time in the financial aid office at one of the two year regional campuses of the University of South Carolina for 9 years. I grew up on my grandpa's family farm (he passed away in 2004) and have lived there until August 2008 when I got married and moved to Sumter, SC. I am married to a wonderful Christian man named Gene. I love him with all of my heart. I have found the kind of love God means for a man and woman to share. A kind of love that I thought was only possible once in a lifetime and here I am blessed to have found it twice. God has so richly blessed me far more than I deserve. I have 3 step-kids from Gene's first marriage. Cassandra is 13, Alexandria 10, and Trey 9.

Our family enjoys gathering with our family to celebrate the birth of Christ. Now whule the Christmas decorations are out, my youngest has to look at baby Jesus every day in our Nativity Scene above our fireplace. She gets a kick out of seeing Him in his swaddling cloths (His blanket to her). One of the things I love most about Christmas is seeing Jesus through the eyes of my children!
